Let's talk about what it is not. First of all it is not a quick fix plan that leaves you losing weight or feeling good for a short time just to have you put all the weight back on again and feel terrible after you stop. This is not taking a magic pill approach with no effort on your part. It is not pre-packaged supplements with lots of jittery uppers that make you feel good only to crash an hour later. This is not a sit under a laser or put a wrap on your cellulite and pray that your body fat goes down .If it were that easy everyone would be doing it and look fantastic. This is not a fad diet that comes and goes and you lose weight initially to think that is the answer, but then the next fad diet comes along and you are continually chasing the next thing. This is not a put your arm in the air and let me "test" what supplements I'm going to guess you need. This is a lifestyle change that requires HARD WORK, DEDICATION, and DISCIPLINE.
Now let’s talk about what WILD SIDE is. It all starts with a thorough health history. We determine what YOUR goals are? I get it, most people want to lose weight, look and feel great, or they want to fit in their clothes again. What we need to determine is your starting point. First, we measure your weight, BMI, body fat, blood pressure, pulse, waist, hips, thighs and arms. The most UNIQUE thing we do is have your blood work done. This is not your standard blood work that you may have had done in the past. This is extremely detailed. After getting your report ,the first thing we examine is the genetic components of your labs which will determine how you should eat based on if you are a BEAR, a TIGER, or a DEER. The next thing we do is examine if you have a variant in the MTHFR which has been linked to cardiovascular problems, stroke, migraines, miscarriages, neural tube defects, and many other problems. We will check your Lipid panel, inflammatory test, metabolic test, and so much more! The nice thing about this report is that it is color coded which makes it easy to understand. For example, if you have high cholesterol levels it will show up in the RED column or high risk, in the Yellow column as cautionary, or in the Green column for good.
So now we have your starting point on your journey to your goals and your health, what do we do with all this information? We put together a binder that is unique to YOU ONLY. It has recipes for deer, tiger, or bear. We determine what supplements you need and put them in packs that are convenient and unique to YOU ONLY. This binder has a food journal where you will log everything you eat for the next 6 weeks. This will help to hold you accountable to sticking with your plan. It has an activity tracker in which you will write down what you did for exercise every day.
You will be working out with a personal trainer at least twice a week to show you proper form and hold you accountable to get healthy!
